How I got to where I was today

As a child I was active, sporty and a total fidget – I loved dancing, gymnastics & swimming but after an Achilles rupture aged 11 was told I would never exercise again.

It was devastating, i’d lost my identity and I soon turned to partying and alcohol desperately seeking those missing endorphins and found myself as a teenage single mum full of shame and regret and hating myself.

Aged 20 and not feeling comfortable in my skin or myself I tentatively tried an aerobics class – it felt amazing to move my body again after all those years and i soon began my fitness career as i could squeeze sessions around my son

After working with literally hundreds of people in various gym settings and running a bootcamp for 7 years it became apparent that the industry was flawed ….i was noticing a ‘missing link’ in helping people, and i began to study behaviour and the mind and so i evolved into the world of NLP, life coaching and behaviour change.

I’m a big believer that if we ‘ sort out’ our mind and our thoughts we can achieve anything we want, i’ve seen this time and time again over the years with hundreds of clients.

But life throws unimaginable curveballs and aged 40 I split up with my long-term fiancé and ruptured my Achilles tendon AGAIN! I really thought my career was over, but rather than wallow in self-pity, I picked myself up and took myself completely out of my comfort zone! I went backpacking round Costa Rica, moved to the fantastic seaside city of Brighton (discovering the beauty of beach sunrises and the unexpected thrill of open water swimming) and reinvented myself again.

Now in my late forties, I feel more complete than ever – but it’s a continual journey and like everyone i have bad days.

My philosophy will support you to get a grip on your. thoughts and see life through a different perspective

To focus on progress and not perfection and to seek opportunities and not obstacles

After all we only get one l
